Park Tower Hotel and Marble Arch

Park Mark awarded to Care Park UK Ltd at two central London facilities.

Park Tower Hotel and Marble Arch demonstrate the highest standards in delivering safer parking in London

Two central London car parks, the Park Tower Hotel located in Knightsbridge and Marble Arch, located in Westminster, both managed by Care Park UK Ltd, have once again achieved prestigious Park Mark awards. This is a fantastic achievement and recognises that Care Park parking facilities have measures in place that actively deter crime and the fear of crime in car parks.

Park Mark® is the accredited logo of the Safer Parking Scheme. It is given to parking facilities that have achieved the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the Police and the British Parking Association. Their assessments include management and maintenance of the facility, checking that there are appropriate levels of surveillance, lighting, signage, and cleanliness.  All these are known to reduce the opportunity for crime and thus create a safer environment for the motorist and their vehicle.

Car parks with a Park Mark® can use signage featuring the distinctive Park Mark® tick so that drivers know exactly where to go for safe parking. Facilities that have received this award have seen a drop in vehicle-related crime of over 80%.

Patrick Agbeko, Care Park UK Ltd London Operations Manager said: "Care Park has worked very closely over the years with the Metropolitan Police and the British Parking Association to maintain the high standards required for the Safer Parking Scheme Park Mark awards. I am delighted to have retained our accreditations at our  Park Tower Hotel and Marble Arch car parks."

Julie Harty , Designing Out Crime Officer, Metropolitan Police,  said “I have had the pleasure of working with Care Park for several years, most recently at their Park Tower Hotel and Marble Arch sites.
