Q Park - St Enoch

Park Mark Plus awarded to Q-Park, St Enoch car park in Glasgow

Q-Park has once again demonstrated the highest standards across its parking operations.

The St Enoch car park in Glasgow managed by Q-Park has now achieved the prestigious Park Mark Plus award. This is a fantastic achievement recognising that its parking facility meets the highest standards.

Building on the well-regarded Safer Parking Scheme’s Park Mark award, Park Mark Plus recognises only the highest quality car parks. Park Mark is the accredited logo of the Safer Parking Scheme, which is given to parking facilities that have achieved the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the Police and the BPA.  Their assessments include management and maintenance of the facility, checking that there are appropriate levels of surveillance, lighting, signage and cleanliness.  All these are known to reduce the opportunity for crime and thus create a safer environment for the motorist and their vehicle.

The award of Park Mark Plus demonstrates that a facility provides police-approved accredited parking and has reached the standards of the Park Access accreditation and a range of environmental, structural, operational and customer service criteria.

Christine Brown, Q-Park Business Manager, Scotland said: " I am delighted that the St Enoch Q-Park car park has achieved the Park Mark Plus standard which is only awarded to car parks that can demonstrate the highest quality in parking by meeting strict criteria.

"Q-Park has worked closely over the years with BPA and Police Scotland to maintain the high standards that are required for all Q-Park car parks to achieve the Safer Parking Scheme Park Mark awards. I am always very proud when presented with the award certificates."

"This is a significant endorsement of ongoing investment to upgrade and improve our parking facilities in our multi-story and we are delighted to be awarded the Park Mark Plus. Our customers can be assured that Q-Park continually strives to provide safe, accessible parking, with clearly designated parking for parents with small children, disabled bays and recently added Electric charging spaces."

William Clark BPA Area Manager said: “I am delighted that Q-Park has achieved this Park Mark Plus award, demonstrating their hard work and commitment to provide a safe environment for users.”
